Follow these steps to ensure the correct operation of your Optipe add-ins.
1. "Security Risk" Message (Macros Blocked)
If Windows blocks execution because the file source is not trusted:
- Close the installation file.
- In File Explorer, right-click the file and select Properties.
- On the "General" tab, check the "Unblock" box and click OK.

2. Did the add-in disappear? (Disabled Items)
If the Optipe tab no longer appears, Excel may have automatically disabled it after an unexpected closure:
- Go to File > Options > Add-ins.
- In the "Manage" dropdown menu, select Disabled Items and click Go...
- If the Optipe add-in appears, select it and click Enable.

3. Trust Center Settings
Adjust the security level to allow VBA projects to run:
- Go to Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings... > Macro Settings:
- Select "Enable all macros" (or notify).
- Important: Check "Trust access to the VBA project object model".

4. Trusted Locations
To avoid recurring warning messages, add the folder as a safe site:
- In the Trust Center, select Trusted Locations.
- Click Add new location... and browse for the folder where you installed Optipe.
Did none of this work? Your Office installation might need a repair.
